My first step before starting is to assess students' learning style, learning abilities, and learning strengths. Secondly, I will identify areas of weakness within the syllabus and understand why they are struggling in certain areas. In this process, I will also identify common learning barriers among all subjects (i.e., weaknesses in working memory) that can be taught as a skill to learn how to learn better.

Once I have identified the learning strengths and barriers, I will tailor learning lessons with plans and activities. I am good at relating academic concepts to students' interests and their daily lives - it helps them remember and apply these concepts more fluently during exams.
