I am very familiar with the current school syllabus both primary and secondary. I’ve tutored a class of maximum 8 students. I am currently teaching in a school and I’ve been teaching in the school for 4 years.

I have took part in a volunteering project in China, in which I taught English to children from ages 8 to 15 for six weeks. I also taught Korean university students some basic skills in Malay during their time here in Malaysia. I am proficient in English, having scored a Band 5 in MUET and getting As in all my English courses throughout my schooling years (including university). I am able to teach primary level of Mathematics and Science.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer face-to-face so I can communicate directly with the students, though online lessons are acceptable as well. For lessons, I focus more on what the students are weak at so I can find ways to improve their understanding on the matter. However, I also shape my lesson modules based on their strengths as well to cement their understanding in the material. To make sure students understand what I taught them, I would provide them simple exercises for them to complete and I will check during the next class. There are instances where I would ask the students to explain to me what they know about the lesson.

I have graudated from UiTM with a diploma in Applied Science & currently in my final year taking Bachelor’s Degree in Resource Chemistry in UiTM. I have a MUET band of 5 & fluent in the English Language. I taught English form 4 at a Madrasah in Kampung Gita every Sunday. I like to teach small amount of students so I can focus on each one of them more. Preferably students from primary school but high school students are welcome.
