I have had 5 years of teaching experience in government primary school, government secondary school and private learning centre and I've taught students from as young as preschool level to adults. I have strong command in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese and can converse very well in these three languages. Before I teach, I need to understand the level of the student. Therefore some pre-assessment either in the form of verbal, quizzes or essay regarding a topic will be carried out before assessing the student. The selection of books used will also be discussed and agreed upon both parties (teacher and student/student's parents). When I teach, not only do I focus on the student's academic result but I also emphasize on their character development because that is what it takes for them to go far in the future. Parents or guardians will be updated on the students progress on a weekly/monthly basis, depending on their request. I also believe that students will learn better in a small group through interaction with their peers therefore a group of 3 to 4 is most ideal for students to learn and grow.

Hi, my teaching style is more towards practical implications. I would cater the syllabus to the student's capacity and interest to ensure the lesson is more engaging for the student. The time of the lesson can be flexible based on the student's timing. Extra classes will be given during exam seasons as well. More tips and tricks on how to tackle certain subjects will be given to ensure students understand the lesson completely and can also use it in their daily lives. Mostly, the student's interest and likings will be prioritized throughout the subject lessons.
