ill give 2 sets of printed-out questions and let the student answer one. ill help him by helping him recall the concepts and if turns out he still cannot answer, ill show the solution. usually what i do to my friends to let them see and understand is give them what kind of picture to visualize out of the concepts concerned. for example, for topics involving mathematical functions, i visualize the function as a machine that have numbers as input input and spits out different numbers.
