I have been teaching in local private and international schools since 2001, including overseas teaching. I am well-versed with the syllabus for PMR, SPM, O Levels, A Levels and IB. The syllabus is broken down into sections that allow effective coverage within given time, aligned to class tests/exams. My lessons are made interesting with analogies, practical examples and links to daily life/real events, thereby making it one of a kind. My technique is explanation followed by questioning to check the student's understanding, demonstration and culminating in the student's unaided problem solving. Assistance, support and reinforcement will be provided as necessary.

During my experience as a teacher, I've realised that every student has different ways of learning. I try my utmost to teach my students in the way they most prefer enabling them to understand the subject matter better. I will use a lot of past year papers to get students accustomed to answering questions.

I would tell the student in advance on which topic I'd be covering during the following class to allow them some time to prepare. This allows an efficient learning system whereby no time is wasted in explaining something the student already knows.
