I have considerable experience teaching and mentoring students at both the primary and secondary level until MUET. As a former student, I was fortunate to gain considerable teaching experience, teaching both small classes and large quarter-length classes.

I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of fields and succeeded in helping students raise their grades an average of 50%. Interacted with three teachers to develop curriculum and practice tests for students. I have helped students learn to analyze literature and write essays. I have crafted an extensive secondary school teaching skill set that enables me to create lesson plans that students find genuinely interesting, and produces exemplary results in examinations and pupil development.

I am a student of History and Political Science in International Islamic University Malaysia, and had graduated from Sayfol International School, having gained the O'Level certificate. I have acquired a minimal total of 1 year of experience in tutoring. As my Major is in the field of History & Civilization, my aim is to educate, pass on and convey the message of the past to the coming generations.

Tutoring Approach

I would first require the past exam papers which had been completed by the students, by which an analysis would be made on the account of the students course difficulties. My approach of tutoring would then be adapted towards the best procedure to assist the students. From my fair share of encounter, the most difficult comprehension of a student to studying History is their presumption that it is a superflous course, by which they find dull and tedious. My personal approach is to provide a vivid image of the situations which had undergone in previous centuries through the providence of Documentaries, Movies and shows (if necessary). It is important, I find, that students require the full image of the environment, atmosphere, and situation to fully comprehend and appreciate the course, which is largely ignored by schools due to time and perhaps lack of due diligence.  Assignments, and writing practices for essays would also be provided. This would then be upgraded to small tests by which students would be required to finish within a given amount of time. Note that these are requirements for examination preparations, for efficient writing and an expectations of examiners, especially in the English (Edexel/Cambridge) GCE/IGCSE syllabus.

Experience

I am Private home tutor with 20 years of teaching experience for government school students and International students. My teaching method will be more exercise and explanation. My class assessment will be given to find out the students understanding. I will give more attention on their weak points. The parents will be updated with students self progress.

I plan my lesson base on the students capability.Weekly module and homework will be given for fast progress. I will make sure they understand my teaching technique and method.

I have had experience tutoring peers during the weeks leading up to finals with reasonable effect. Although I have no official formal tutoring experience, I am sure I will be quick to learn the ropes.

My strengths lie in examination preparations as well as having a strong command of English for smoother communication.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring will be heavily planned around examination preparation and optimizing test results by practicing past-year papers whenever possible.

Although this may seem inefficient for understanding the subject material, I believe that practice makes perfect and students under my tutoring will be able to grasp the course material through going through past-year papers, while also maximizing their potential grades in class.
