I usually won't provide students with answer directly, instead I will guide and encourage them to answer the questions and this helps them in understanding as well as remembering the contents better. Other than that, I also provide students with notes which are easier for them to understand.

Normally when I start my classes I like to move with students speed to know how much knowledge they have about  the subject. Following that we move with the classes. After every class I like to summarise everything with my students in form of questions which they need to answer verbally to check how much they understand from the class.
