.I had been teaching since I was Form 5 and carried on expanding my teaching life when I was studying A-Levels in KL.I managed to score straight As in SPM with 7A+ and straight As in A-Level with 2A*s, my current CGPA in my degree is also 3.95/4.00. I am also well known with patience and dedication, as a student myself, I understand what I need from the teacher in order to improve. So as a tutor now, I know what the student requires in order to deliver excellent results.

Tutoring Approach

The first approach would be introducing the topics and making sure the student understands the syllabus. I will go chapter by chapter and provide sufficient exercises for the student the refresh what he/she had learnt. This step is to ensure the student can full understand each individual topic. After the student mastered all the necessary and required topics, I will go straight with past year question practices, this will ensure that the student will be familiarized with the exam format. Besides that, past year questions will be the best platform for a student to practice and refresh every single topic. Constant practice of past year questions will allow the student to excel when he/she performs in the actual exam. I believed the most unique part of my tutoring is that besides giving academic support, I am well known in giving mental support (which I believed a lot of tutors lack this attribute). Motivation is the key to success, so I will try to implement a lot of motivational talks and try to discuss with the student about his/her desired goals. Because a student will be able to perform much better and work much harder after setting a targeted goal. This is a huge key of success, and something that makes my lessons one of a kind.

I provided private lessons for students who struggled with mathematics and physics. These students were often from IGCSE courses or IB programs. Having graduated from an IB school, I am very familiar with their curriculum. Additionally, I volunteered to teach English and Mathematics to refugee children from Myanmar.

Tutoring Approach

Practical learning is the best way to go for me. I teach the theoretical part of the syllabus, and then I begin solving examples and problems. This helps students understand how to approach questions while studying and preparing for the exam.
