Tutoring Approach

• First, I would go through the basic concepts for the subject concerned
• Second, I would explain in details some worked examples step by step.
• Then, students are given graded exercises to assess their full grasp on the principles just taught. 
• They are encouraged to ask questions to clear any doubts they might have over the topic learned.
• Next, they attempt more challenging questions with minimal guidance for confidence building.
• I apply tailored-made teaching techniques according to each student’s learning capability.  
• They are inculcated the importance of good study habits; a passion for learning and gaining knowledge.
• I employ positive reinforcement to challenge their limits, discover and realize their full potential for and by themselves. “No one is born an idiot. Likewise a genius is not born but made.”

I have been teaching Mathematics and Robotics for 4 years. I emphasize on students' understanding on the concept, theory, the working principle, and etc. but not memorizing the way of solving questions like most of the classes do. I like to interact and communicate with students like friends so that student would learn under a relaxed atmosphere, correct their attitude towards learning.

Tutoring Approach

Sometimes I use computer programs to teach Mathematics and Physics, to visualize and show the students what is happening, simulating the conditions. This method is effective when students are visual learners. Preferrable interval between lessons is one lesson every week, each session lasts 1.5 hour to 2.5 hour, depends on request. Lesson times are flexible and could be changed if students are unavailable for a particular day.
