My tutoring approach is a customized lesson plan to each student according to their individual pace as well as their strengths and weaknesses. I assess students to understand them better in the first session and then move forward with a custom made lesson plan. I also believe in assessing students in a timely manner so that there can be more emphasis on focus areas that they need more guidance on.

I have completed both my Piano and Music Theory in ABRSM Grade 8, before moving on with tertiary education in the UK. Apart from teaching, I occasionally play as a pianist for classical ballet classes. I have a strong passion in music, and would love to share my knowledge with other music lovers, be it young children or matured adults, for leisure or for examination purposes. I have taught children as young as 3 years old, and I get along very well with young children.

I have won awards in the Mathematics Olympiad (representing Malaysia) and achieved 9A's in SPM, as well as a Band 5.0 in MUET. I believe hiring a younger tutor may be beneficial as I can better understand the students. I have been teaching and helping my peers, using various teaching methods to suit different people. I am willing to offer a free trial class as well.
