  1. Dear Kids! Let's learn about articles, It is the most important topic in english grammar.
  2. Article is a word that gives some information about the noun.
  3. There are two kinds of articles.. They are: Definite Article - the Indefinite Article - a, an
  4. There are two indefinite article in English grammar. They are a and an. It is used to refer any person, place or thing. Indefinite means not clear. It is used when you donut know about the particular person, name or thing. So, kids always use indefinite article when you don't know much about the noun
  5. An- is used before vowel sound words starting with the letters
  6. Examples for AN: An apple a day keeps doctors away It is an ink bottle My brother brought be an orange
  7. Examples for A: He went to meet a doctor I am a teacher She went to a park last evening
  8. SPECIAL CASES: Some words begin with U but the article is la'.
  9. Example: x A Universal A European x A Useful
  10. SPECIAL CASES: Some words begin with H but the article is Ian'.
  11. Example: An Hour x An Honest man x
  12. 12 The - Definite Article: Definite means things we know before. 'Thel is the only one definite article in the English Grammar. So, kids keep in mind and use 'The' before a particular person, place or thing.
  13. It comes at any part of the sentence before noun
  14. 14 Examples based on Gender: The girl is eating ice cream. The boy is painting a bird. The children are walking in the rain. The man takes class.
  15. 15 Examples based on Place or things: My mother took me to the park. He loves animals in the zoo. She uses to play with the ball. Open the first page. The window was closed.
  16. Examples based on Universal Truth: The moon appears in the night. The sun rises in the east.
  17. 17 No Article x We wont use article I The' while referring to these special cases:
  18. People name Books Uncountable nouns Countries Planet name 18 Plurals Sports Any places
  19. Examples: I was born in 2000. I am from Malaysia. Haikal loves riding horses.
