Usually I will explain in own words rather than focusing on the book. This is because students can easily grasp what I trying to said and understand. After that, I will ask them to explain what I has explained to them to check whether they understand or not. I will provide some exercise to students to do revision at home.

I have done my teaching practicum at SMK Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar. During practicum time, I got the weakest class for Form 1 and Form 4 which is second class. During practicum, I taught them English, throughout these 3 months I able to see the students can speak in English very well and able to write a short essay in English very well. Besides, I as a teacher can see the differences especially at the beginning of the month and also at the end of the month during my teaching practicum. Besides, I also working in Sayfol International school.

However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don’t lecture to students or ask them to memorise things unless it’s really necessary.
