Tutoring experience: I’ve taught English in China for almost 8 years. I taught children from the age of 3 to the age of 15. My strengths: I love children and children automatically love me. That’s because I try to change the stigma around teachers being mean or very tough to children in order to force them to learn. I try as much as possible. My qualifications: I have obtained my TESOL certificate and other certificates of excellency from previous teaching centers.

Tutoring Approach

How I plan my lessons: I start off with greetings and daily questions then I move onto a mini review of pervious lessons I then play a little game to get the children’s attention. From there I start teaching the new content making sure I place some games here and then to help them practice and to keep them engaged. I finish off the class with a mini review of what we learned and I then give out behavior grading at the end of the class to encourage kids to participate more in class( using the stars methods) what makes my lesson one3 of a kind is that I make sure kids will surely enjoy the class and I also teach a bit of common values to children. Style of teaching: I like communicative and interactive teaching. I believe children learn best when they are being included in activities and challenges during class time to grab their attention best.
