I’m planning my lessons based on the learners’ needs: initially, the basic lessons will be on grammar items (for English) and contents (vocabulary, language skills etc.). The lessons will be focusing on engaging the learners to enjoy the content and apply the essential skills involved in their everyday routines as language users. Tutoring techniques are mainly on getting the learners adapted to their new content and skills and expand on that.

During first session, usually I will warm up with some chat to know the student preference of study. I usually will prepare syllabus and put up a few goal to be achieved by the student. My standard style of teaching would be more on exercise and problem solving technique. First is for every chapter taught, a basic introduction will be briefed with course outline. This is to ensure that the students get some ideas of what will they learned in that particular chapter. Instead of giving all the notes to the student, I will teach them how to make their own as that will enhance their level of understanding. Tutorials will be given, hands-on in class and also some simple homework to be taken home.
