Students will be given a test at the beginning of the session for me to gauge their grasp of the subject. In later sessions, they will be given reinforcement exercises that they would work on with my assistance on topics that need improvement.

Focus on explaining key concepts with examples followed by a lot of practice questions. Firstly, I’ll start with past year questions on the topic followed by harder questions to ensure full understanding of key topic.

My tutoring approach would never be the same for each student as i believe every individual are different. Each individual have their own strength and weaknesses, it is best to understand these aspect of an individual first before going through with the lesson. I would then need to further understand on the learning method most suitable for the individual. Either they respond better with visualization, listening or even experience. These are some aspects that i believe is necessary to discuss with the parents and individual before starting the lesson. Once discussed and a learning schedule is set, i would then give my full attention in teaching while also keeping notes on the individual's progress to submit a report to the parents and give any recommendations or suggestions if needed.

• Check the student's school work for the past one week and have a brief discussion (5 - 10 mins)
• Start the lesson with explanations and 2 or 3 examples. Then the student is guided try for himself or herself. (20 - 25 mins).
• Student is to answer 2 or 3 questions of the same type on his/her own. (20 - 25 mins).
• If time allows, then Past Years Questions are given.
