I have been a tutor part time for 3 years and 2 years full time. As I have pursue my degree in cognitive science, therefore, I have prior knowledge in teaching technique. This is important because, every student, they have different approach. The right technique will bring them success and vice versa.

During first session, usually I will warm up with some chat to know the student preference of study. I usually will prepare syllabus and put up a few goal to be achieved by the student. My standard style of teaching would be more on exercise and problem solving technique. For student that have intelligent deficit, I have learn a few technique during my study to attract their attention in learning. I hope this would give parents out there hopes that their child still can achieve success in school with the right techniques of study.
