| Experience | Experience: I have worked at a tuition centre in the UK while studying for my degree where I taught Mathematics and Physics up to A Level. I also tutored boarding students at my previous post (Prince of Wales Island International School). I am very energetic and like to get the students as engaged in learning as possible. I make sure the students are comfortable and feel that they could trust me with their learning process. I am passionate and I make the students my top priority. |

| Approach | Approach: There are two different approaches that I usually take and this depends on the needs of the students. For the students who are more able and advance, I would focus on topics that they are struggling with. For the others, I would start from the beginning of the syllabus and the time spent on a topic depends on how quickly they could grasp the concepts. I would prepare the lessons before the sessions and would carry out almost classroom style where I would explain with the implementation of active learning (students' involvement). I like to include jokes and keep the lesson fun and engaging by playing games and activities that would enhance the learning process. I also let the students sit for tests after a few topics to see where they need improvements and further assistance. |
