I do not have official tutoring experience, but I am frequently consulted by friends and family members regarding topics on mathematics and physics. I usually put more emphasis on the understanding and visualization of concepts instead of just memorizing formulae.
As for Japanese, I can speak and write fluently and have experience studying abroad in Japan for 2 years, including courses on Japanese Language Education in a Japanese university.

For mathematics, I will mainly focus on 3 things:
1) Understanding of mathematical concepts
2) Techniques/Methods for solving math problems in general
3) Application of formulae and theorems

I hope to spark an interest towards mathematics itself, such that you might be interested to learn more about mathematics and not just study for examinations. I believe that a strong foundation of mathematical concepts from previous levels is essential to understanding the contents of the current syllabus. Therefore if necessary, I will focus on revising previous concepts before proceeding with the current syllabus.

For Japanese, I do not have a systematic syllabus and will centre the teaching around reading/audio materials. However, if requested I can follow the contents of any textbook chosen by you. From personal experience, I believe that studying non-textbook materials like articles, novels, even manga or anime is more beneficial than just following textbooks, regardless of your current level.
