Usually I will use their own books for revision, additionally I will go through all sets of questions related to their weakness so they will be more confident to answer during actual examination. I believe that the education system in Malaysia has got it all wrong, and I use my own unique style of teaching that grasps the true purpose of education. My approach to the sciences as a medical student will be unique in comparison to these subjects being taught by an academician. Learning is supposed to be fun and relevant, useful in our lives! I will first give an overview of the topic I am going to teach as a macro-view of the topic before tackling it is essential to knowing WHY we are studying it, and what to expect. I will teach application of the basic sciences as this is one of the most important aspect being neglected in most academician styled tuition teachers. Finally, I will review the chapter, and now it is up to the student to use the studying techniques I will provide him/her to ensure success in exams, and in life. I believe that success in school is not merely shoving information down the student’s throats, but instead a complex process with many issues that need to be addressed like student motivation.
