Not all of my teaching material is strictly from the book, though, since this can become dull and repetitive for a student. I teach computer science subjects by example and by using images which deemed effective in capturing students attention. When teaching programing languages, students must use IDE (either online or offline) to test their skills and to solidify their understanding. Theories only won't stick. programing is like math, if you don't practice everyday, it will evaporates.
